The aim of the board for the 2007–2010 term of office is to increase the number of members taking part in ICMAH activities: meetings, conferences, working groups, joint activities and information exchange.

The board supports the work of the ICMAH working groups.

During the 2007–2010 term of office, the board will
• arrange a series of conferences on topics relevant to museums and collections of archaeology and history. As in the past, the challenges facing city museums will play a major role in this programme
• cooperate with like-minded organisations
• examine how the strategic plan of ICOM applies to its activities.

The ICMAH board considers the website to be an important tool of communication and therefore encourages its members to use and promote it.
